Ingredients

How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees
  • Line two baking sheets with aluminum foil and spray with olive oil.
  • Peel and slice the sweet potatoes (a mandolin makes this job a breeze)
  • Place slices on the foil, spray slices again with the cooking spray, and sprinkle with seasoning mix.
  • Put baking sheets in the oven, bake for 20 minutes, turn over, reduce oven to 300 degrees, and continue to bake until slices are crisp, but not burned, approximately 15 to 20 more minutes. Cool, remove from baking sheet, and enjoy.
  • Note: A small sweet potato, 6 to 8 oz. will fill one baking sheet.

Glad to have found this recipe. I will have to try it, sounds easy enough. Have you ever made green bean chips? I am looking for a recipe for them. I bought several bags of crispy vegtable chips from the Amish store located north of our town. I bought One Pound bags each of the beets, raddish, peas, carrots, green bean, taro, squash and sweet potato veggie chips. They are delicious and good for you. Better then regular potato chips. Also a great way of getting your vegtables in for the day for someone who does not like vegtables. I think I can figure out how to make all of the vegtables except the green bean chips. If by some chance you happen to run by a crispy green bean chip recipe I hope you share it with us.. thanks for the recipe High Five *****

I usually get the Terra brand Sweet Potato chips and I love them, but these sound so much better. I can't wait to try.
