Breakfast Kabobs

- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 3-4t cinnamon shopping list
- 1-2t nutmeg shopping list
- 8 "brown and serve" rolls, uncooked and quartered shopping list
- 1 stick butter, melted shopping list
- 1lb Canadian bacon or breakfast ham rounds shopping list
- Assorted fruits(per taste or season ie fresh pineapple(chunks), whole, fresh strawberries, banana(thickly sliced, melon chunks, orange segments, etc) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in small bowl.
- Place roll quarters in large zipper bag and drizzle with melted butter.
- Shake until coated.
- Add sugar mixture and shake again until coated.
- On soaked bamboo skewers, thread each with 2 pieces each of fruit, rolls, and ham(folded on itself into "quarter" circles). Do not crowd skewers.
- Grill or cook using indirect heat for about 10 minutes until just heated.
- *For camping, just prepare the sugar mix in airtight container and take along ingredients. Cook over open fire on long skewers, but be careful not to have them too close to the fire, as they will burn easily. Or, place over the side coals on a camp cooking rack*
