Directions

Pick a ripe melon. I still slap them with my hand and I want to here a sharp firm sound.

I like to cut them in half and then cut a section off the bottom.

Now it is easier and safer to cut as it isn't rolling around.

Of course it is fun to eat on the rind and just as much fun to cut up the whole watermelon, chill it and then just sit and poke and eat the wonderful bites of sugar.
