How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and cook, stirring frequently, over medium heat until the butter melts and sugar is disolved.
  • remove from heat and pour into a heat-proof glass measuring cup until ready to use.
  • baste fish or chicken with the sauce before and while grilling and serve remaining sauce on the side...........enjoy ............

    Sounds terrific, Tink - my only problem is, I can't tolerate dark rum. Would white rum do just as well for this?
