Tinkerbells -ginger - Key- Lime - Rum -sauce

This is a very light Caribbean sauce and delicious on shrimp, fish and chicken.........enjoy ......................

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and cook, stirring frequently, over medium heat until the butter melts and sugar is disolved.
remove from heat and pour into a heat-proof glass measuring cup until ready to use.
baste fish or chicken with the sauce before and while grilling and serve remaining sauce on the side...........enjoy ............

Sounds terrific, Tink - my only problem is, I can't tolerate dark rum. Would white rum do just as well for this?
