A Different Sauerbrauten

                    - 6 slices bacon shopping list
- 3 pound beef roast shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 4 carrots shopping list
- 4 celery stalks shopping list
- 3 onions shopping list
- 8 ounces sour cream shopping list
- 3 bay leaves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it 
                    - Cook bacon in a large pot then add cleaned vegetables cut into chunks.
- Brown veggies thoroughly then remove from pot.
- Roll roast in flour, salt and pepper mixture then add roast to pot and brown.
- Return veggies to pot and add water to cover then add bay leaves and simmer 5 hours.
- Remove roast and bay leaves.
- Mix remainder of liquid and vegetables in blender with sour cream.
- Pour gravy over roast and serve with potato dumplings.
