There is nothing like a hot bath to freshen you up when you are hot and tired. Here's proof that it works for "tired" fruit as well. This is what I did with mine!

This is delicious! My dear Father-in-law prepares a fruit compote very similar to your recipe so I know it's good! The only difference with the way he prepares his is he uses honey and a couple of whole cloves instead of ground. High 5!!!
