This is a great appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients
  • About 1-1 1/2 pds. of asparagus spears
  • 1-Pound of bacon
  • Fresh ground pepper, pimento,chopped chives or scallions, are great optional garnishes.

Directions
  1. Clean asparagus well.
  2. Wrap bacon around three spears at a time and place them on the
  3. grill until bacon is crisp.
  4. Cook 10 to 11 minutes until bacon is crisp and asparagus bundles are tender.
  5. Be careful not to burn.
