Fruit and Brazil Nut Loaf

this recipe has a lot of nuts in it...and fruit... I don't know how many servings but it does make 2 loaves...the recipe is from a Gooseberry Patch cookbook
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 teasp. baking powder shopping list
- 1 teasp. salt shopping list
- 10-ounce box whole pitted dates shopping list
- 2 cups chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1 cup brazil nuts shopping list
- 10-ounce jar maraschino cherries, drained shopping list
- 5 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 teasp. vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- sift together the dry ingredients into a bowl
- add dates, nuts, and cherries.
- stir to coat with the flour mixture
- add the eggs and the vanilla
- blend everything well
- spoon batter into 2 well greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pans
- bake at 325' F for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes
- cool

I think this is the one my neighbor used to make .. OMG.. it is wonderful! Thanks! Brazil nuts are one of my favorites! I'm the one who picks them out of the mixed nuts! LOL
