Brown Bear in an Orchard

I picked this recipe up from a fellow camper who had their tent not far from ours. They brought some over to us and I had to have the recipe after 1 bite.
Ingredients
- 1 (20-oz.) can applesauce shopping list
- 1 (14-oz.) package gingerbread mix shopping list
How to make it
- Heat applesauce in Dutch oven over hot coals.
- Prepare gingerbread mix using package directions.
- Pourover hot applesauce.
- Cover Dutch oven.
- Place in hot coals.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until gingerbread tests done.
- Can serve with whipped topping.
