I love this cake, simple to make.

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cups Brown sugar
  • 2 cups Sour milk (milk with white vinegar)
  • 4 cups Flour
  • 3/4 cup Butter
  • 2 cups Jam (Berry, Apricot, Peach or Orange)
  • 2 teaspoons Baking soda
  • 3 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons Cloves
  • 2 teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 15 ounces Raisins
  • 1 cup Nuts (mix) Optional if you do not want them.

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together well except jam.
  2. Lastly, gently stir in the 2c jam.
  3. Pour into greased and floured 9" round cake pans or Bundt.
  4. Bake in 325 degree oven for 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  5. If desired, sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top.
