Italian Meatballs Recipe

These are little tasty meatballs. Serve them as an appetizer or take make them part of the main course. They have bursts of flavor.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds hamburger
- 2 cloves of garlic ( I used a press)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 piece of bread--put it under the facet to get it wet. Ring all the water out and crumble it up over the meat.
- 1/2 cup of dry bread crumbs
- 1 t. Italian seasoning
- 1 egg
- 1 t. red pepper flakes ( more if you like)
- 1/2 or 3/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- The meat will be almost white from the cheese. You can control the cheese if you want a smaller amount. This is very tasty.
Directions
- Add all these ingredients to a big bowl. Mix with hands.
- Shape into small 1 inch balls
- Place on a slotted rack with dripping pan underneath
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

I've never really tried to make my own meatballs. Tried these last nite. Very nice, everyone really enjoyed them. I like the little kick every now and then from the red pepper flakes. I did fry them in EVOO and then kept them warm in the oven.
