How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 450. In a large bowl,combine the cream cheese,sour cream,worcestershire sauce and seafood seasoning. Blend well wit an electric mixer or wooden spoon. Mix in the crabmeat
  • Transfer mixture to a 12" square or oval casserole dish,spreading evenly;sprinkle with the shreaded cheese. Bake for 20 mins or till cheese is bubbly. Serve immediately with toasted rounds and crackers.(Dip can be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated but do not top with cheese and do not bake. When ready to serve,microwave for 5 mins,and stir,then top with cheese and bake 15 min.)

    This recipe rocks. I made it last week for ppl that were coming over to watch the hockey game. WOW. It was a hit. The dish emptied quickly!

    I added in a few chopped green onions for a bit of extra texture and flavour. It was soooo good. Kind of reminded me of crab rangoon, but in dip format! I served it with wonton chips and french bread. :)

    This is my new favourite dip! Love it love it love it.

    Got a can of crabmeat in the cupboard that should do nicely for this. Do I have to wait for a party? I could eat this all by myself. I've never seen seafood seasoning here, is there something I could substitute?
