Another old time sandwich made again as it was and still is so much fun to eat. Originally made with Wonder white bread back in 1957.

Ingredients
- This was a favorite snack to make for myself and friends long ago. All my friends would always come to my house as we were pretty laid back about kids coming over. We would eat almost a whole loaf of bread making these sandwiches.
- It is the Sandwich Rule to first eat or cut off the crust of the bread.
- Then it is so good to start eating the heart of the sandwich and you only chew on the soft center and juicy center. Gosh it tastes so good.
- Cracked or white bread
- Butter or margarine
- Cinnamon and sugar
Directions
- Toast bread.
- Very important, spread butter Edge to Edge.
- Sprinkle on lots of mixed cinnamon and sugar..
- Eat or cut off crust
- Eat the center, oh yea
- Wrap up the short toaster cord with a Wrap-N-Strap for easy storage.

When I was a little girl I would make sugar sandwiches. I used to spread butter on bread sprinkle it with sugar and roll it up like a ball! Don't know why, but to me they were good. This reminded me of that. Thanks for bringing back the memories!

Well, that is so funny, I had two posts in mind when I put up the Cinnamon and sugar sandwich recipe. The other was white bread with butter and yes, then sprinkle white sugar on it and yep roll it up and eat it. That is so funny we did the same thing. I will still make it and post. JJ
