How to make it

  • Make praline:
  • Place the almonds in a lightly greased baking sheet with oil. Melt sugar in a saucepan over low heat until golden brown and pour over the almonds. Cool completely. Crush and ground them in a food processor. Set aside
  • Make filling:
  • Cream butter, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer. Use to sandwich each pair of the chocolate wafer. Press lightly and trim excess filling with a small knife. Dip edges in the ground praline mixture. Sift powder sugar over top for decoration. Chill
