Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Spray baking sheet with cooking spray
  • Put garbanzo beans on in a single layer
  • In small mixing bowl, mix soy sauce, water, salt, and paprika
  • Cover beans with mixture to coat
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until brown and crisped, stirring often

    WOW! Never even heard of these. Sound good, and good for you! Brad hates garbanzos, but I love 'em.

    Oh, perfect. I bought soy sauce AND two cans of beans. YEAH...snack better than salted peanuts!!

    That's cool. I'd like to give this a whirl! Chick peas are very, very good for you and I like that this is baked, not fried!

    These sound really good....I'm glad you found a recipe for them :) I used to get a healthy snack mix in the vending machine @ work that had dried peas in it & it was really good....can't find it anymore, though...

    be sure to store these in a paper bag, NOT in a plastic bag or container. If in plastic they will soften and not be the crunchy treat you made. These are a huge hit in South Beach Diet Land, though I like the addition of soy sauce.
