How to make it

  • Well I cut the mushrooms in half and then sliced them really thin but you do it how ever you like and then i chopped the green onions fairly small and then ran the knife through them some more. I put the can of chicken broth in a saucepan threw in the mushrooms and onion and a couple of shots of soy and began to boil. I just let it go untill it had reduced down to about a cup and then I added the chili sauce and simmered another 15 or so minutes. No iron clad rules here, do what works for you. I then served it over egg noodles and served with some Tilapia i had marinated in sesame oil and garlic and ginger and a salad with peanut butter dressing.

Nice recipe Mary... I love garlic chile sauce idea and much prefer scallions over other onions in my mushrooms. I am putting this on my short list. Will let you know how it turns out...Thanks Jim

I will pick up some Chili Garlic Sauce so I can test out your Spicy Garlic Mushroom Sauce Recipe. It sounds wonderful and I am a mushroom fan so it will be real soon that I try this.
