How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugar with flour.
  • Beat in eggs (by hand, but beat well).
  • Stir in cream, add vanilla.
  • Pour into two pie shells and bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes---until firm in center when shaken.

  • Note: I use frozen pie shells and have found that they tend to get too brown before pie is done. To prevent this, put a small strip of Reynolds Wrap around edges while baking--remove the last five minutes.
