Salmon With Brown Sugar and Mustard Glaze

- 2 salmon fillets (with skin) shopping list
- 3 Tbl. light brown sugar shopping list
- 1 Tbl. honey shopping list
- 2 Tbl. butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard shopping list
- 2 Tbl. soy sauce shopping list
- 2 Tbl. olive oil shopping list
- 1 Tbl. finely grated ginger shopping list
- vegetable oil shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Melt brown sugar, honey and butter in a small sauce pan over medium high heat. Remove from heat and whisk in the mustard, soy sauce, olive oil and ginger. Put aside.
- Preheat grill to medium heat and brush both sides of salmon with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper. Place salmon skin side down on grill. Coat flesh of fish with brown sugar mixture. Grill 5 minutes. Turn the fillet and coat the skin side with the brown sugar mixture. Grill an additional 5 minutes. (Grill time will depend on the thickness of the fillet. Adjust accordingly). Serve immediately.
