How to make it

  • Melt brown sugar, honey and butter in a small sauce pan over medium high heat. Remove from heat and whisk in the mustard, soy sauce, olive oil and ginger. Put aside.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat and brush both sides of salmon with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper. Place salmon skin side down on grill. Coat flesh of fish with brown sugar mixture. Grill 5 minutes. Turn the fillet and coat the skin side with the brown sugar mixture. Grill an additional 5 minutes. (Grill time will depend on the thickness of the fillet. Adjust accordingly). Serve immediately.
