Spinach Casserole

Spiced up version. goes great with a holiday/ ham dinner. even better the next day .
Ingredients
- 2 packages frozen chopped spinach shopping list
- 4 tbsp butter shopping list
- 2 tbsp flour shopping list
- 1/2 c evaporated milk shopping list
- 2 tbsp chopped onion shopping list
- 1/2 cup reserved spinach liquid shopping list
- 12 oz jalapeno cheese cubed shopping list
- 3/4 tsp celery salt shopping list
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder(not garlic salt) shopping list
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- buttered bread crumbs shopping list
How to make it
- Cook spinach according to package directions, drain and reserve liquid.
- melt butter over medium heat
- stir in flour then onion. add liquids (milk&liquid from spinach)
- cook on low heat stirring constantly until smooth and thick.
- add seasonings and cheese
- when melted,add cooked spinach and stir to combine
- pour into casserole dish and top with buttered bread crumbs.
- bake for 30-40 mins at 325 until hot and crumbs brown.
