How to make it

  • Clean and rinse chicken
  • Pat it dry
  • Rub the chicken down with the Butter, making sure you get it on the inside too.
  • Rub the chicked all over with the Minced Garlic and put some inside too.
  • Sprinkle the seasonings to taste.
  • Insert a meat thermometer if it doesn't have a pop-up one.
  • Put in Crock Pot on Low Setting for 5-6 hours or until it meets temp.
  • You don't need to add any chicken broth or stock, the butter and the chicken make it's own. You will end up with some delicious, moist, fall off the bone chicken.
  • I usually take the juices left in the bottom and make rice with them. Substituting the water for the rice with the juice.
  • Then I serve the chicken over the rice.
