- 1/2 cup beet juice shopping list
- 1 tbsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, minced shopping list
- 2 tbsp lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup shopping list
- 350g extra-firm low-fat tofu, sliced into 16 pieces shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients but tofu in a bowl or measuring cup.
- Arrange tofu pieces in a shallow baking dish, and pour the marinade overtop.
- Marinate in fridge for two hours, flipping slices halfway through.
- Drain, reserving 1/4 cup marinade.
- Cook in a non-stick pan over medium heat for 3 minutes a side.
- Add reserved marinade and cook over high heat for 2 minutes longer.
