this recipe is from the Spirit of Christmas series... I haven't tried this recipe but they look so so good...

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teasp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teasp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 teasp. baking powder
  • 1/2 teasp. salt
  • 1/2 cup extra-crunchy peanut butter

Directions
  1. preheat oven to 350' F
  2. in a medium bowl...combine butter and the sugars.
  3. add eggs and vanilla...beat until smooth
  4. in small bowl .. combine flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt
  5. add dry mixture to the butter mixture
  6. stir just until the dry ingredients are moistened
  7. stir in the peanut butter
  8. spread batter into a greased 7 x 11-inch metal baking pan
  9. bake 20 - 25 minutes or until set in the middle
  10. cool completely in pan
  11. cut into squares
  12. makes about 24
