Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Put 1 stick of butter in large pan and put in the oven to melt.
  • Mix the sugar, flour, baking powder, and the milk.
  • When the butter is melted pour in the flour-sugar mixture.
  • Put in about 4 cups of apples with the liquid that has been sweetened to your taste.
  • Do not stir.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
  • Put in oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
  • Note: You can use this recipe for peach or any kind of cobbler.

    I looked all over for a recipe for cobbler that was like my grandma's... I knew how it was made but wasn't sure of the amount of the ingredients. This is a perfect match thanks so much! I miss my grandma so much and my kitchen is going to smell like hers did throughout the entire autumn months :)

    As I said in my profile, I love to present food as much as prepare it.. I just put blueeyes' cobbler in a parfait glass, added some cool whip and sprinkled some cinnamon on top.. I would have added a fresh Mint sprig if I had served it to guests... It was a beautiful golden color in the glass.. And very yummy...
