Stolen Cheese Spread

This is a recipe that I begged, borrowed and stole from a caterer at a wedding that I attended. It is tasty and has a surprise twist that, at first, sounds weird. It has a wonderful finish!
Ingredients
- 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
- 1/2 cup green onion, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 cup mayonnaise shopping list
- 1 tsp worchestershire shopping list
- 1 cup strawberry preserves shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together all ingredients (except jam) until well blended.
- Spray a bunt pan with cooking spray and spread mixture in pan.
- Chill one hour (or over night)
- Dip the bottom of the bunt pan in hot water and turn onto a serving platter. Put a dish of the strawberry preserves in the middle and . . .
- . . .erve with whole wheat crackers and preserves. Great for parties!
- The strawberry preserves sound strange but are really a great compliment to the cheese! Go ahead try it - don't be afraid!
