Sounds delicious! Lately I'm loving apple desserts, so I'll have to try this one! Is this your own creation? Are all the recipes you will be sharing, your own creation?

Many of the recipes I post are originals and family recipes handed down from a long list of family chefs, pastry chefs, etc.

Sounds scrumptious! Always looking for apple recipes this time of year....saved it!

This was very good. I used 1/2 the sugar and butter. I doubled the milk. I also used low fat cream cheese. This was a very thick batter. The cake part was very good. It was nice and fluffy with a slight taste of almond, which was very unique. It took 50 minutes to bake and it was perfect. The topping needs to be tweaked a bit because the apples were too dry and rubbery. I think next time I'll grate the apples and add a crumb topping. That should make the apples hold their moisture. Still a very tasty cake. Thanks Kitchenwitch! I hope you like my photos!

The recipe looks easy.
