I got the idea for this, from a recipe, by a member named Crossfire. I took that recipe and began changing it so much that it wasn't the same recipe anymore. This is what it became.

Ingredients
  • 8 Multi Grain Tortillas - Fajita Size
  • 1 Tbls. Cinnamon Powder + 2 Tbls Sugar - Mixed together
  • 1/2 cup Pure Apple Juice

Directions
  1. Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Stack tortillas ontop of each other and slice like a pie, into 8 pieces.
  3. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper and place cut tortillas in a single layer on sheet.
  4. Brush each slice, lightly with apple juice. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Bake for about 17 minutes.
  6. Let cool completely. Serve plain or with a fruit salsa.

Please do not use pre made, store bought, "cinnamon sugar" because that doesn't have a strong cinnamon flavor.

Yummy! These would also be great with some fruit salsa!!


This recipe would be great snack for diabetics if they substitute the sugar for an artifical sweetener as the cinnamon help control their blood sugar. Great recipe!

I make these with Annies fruit salsa from AR. I spray them with pam, just on one side, and put the cinamon/sugar in a large plastic bag. Shake the chips in the sugar and bake, Yummy, and try them with fruit salsa


I love this.. I also make them with pam and splenda and cinnamon. I made them for myself but the kids liked them too. This is one to add back into the rotation of snacks...Thanks for the reminder.
