How to make it

  • Brown sausage in a skillet.
  • Drain fat and transfer to the stoneware.
  • Combine remaining ingredients in the stoneware.
  • Cover cook on Low 7 to 9 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Remove bay leaves.
  • Serve over cooked rice.

    Made this last night for the 2nd time, and it was delicious again! Everybody loves this one. I love it because it's both easy and different. Also, I didn't have 2 smoked sausages, so I used a turkey kielbasa and a light smoked sausage. It made NO difference to the taste, so it was even semi-healthy! I'd give it a 6 if I could!
