Hey Sher, I was searching the oatmeal cookie recipes today and came across yours. I made them and they are delicious! Added my pic (hope you don't mind) Added some walnuts cuz hubby likes 'em and made with raisons. I made them about the size of large walnuts so I had to cook them about 14 minutes, but other than that followed recipe to the tee. VERY GOOD. Printed and saved. High 5. ;')

Thanks I will try that the next time. They are a very nice oatmeal cookie. This recipe I got years ago from one of those My First Cookbooks that my daughter came home from school selling her first year in school to raise money for missing children.Of course she wanted to make something from her own book and chose this recipe and also wanted to add a few ingredients that were not in the recipe. Well they were a big hit and we have been making them ever since.

This is very similar to ones I make. We found out that if you add some golden raisins, the taste difference is dramatic.
