The Creamiest Hot Buttered Rum Master

This recipe is really yummy and the nice thing is that you can make up a batch early for those cold nights and then just make a cup or two whenever you feel the need. Enjoy! :)
Ingredients
- * 1 qt vanilla ice cream, softened (let it get almost to a liquid) shopping list
- * 1 lb very soft butter shopping list
- * 1lb brown sugar shopping list
- * 1lb powdered sugar shopping list
- * 2 tsp ground nutmeg shopping list
- * 2 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- Cream butter, sugars and spices. When they are thoroughly mixed, mix in the ice cream. Pour mixture into a plastic container, seal, and freeze. You can keep this in the freezer for up to 3 months. shopping list
How to make it
- To make drinks:
- * Put a generous tablespoon of batter into a large mug
- * Add a shot of rum (something like Bacardi Gold)... alternative
- *replace with Hot Cider or use a little of each
- * Stir until batter and rum are completely mixed
- * Fill mug with hot water and stir again
- * Sprinkle freshly ground nutmeg over top with a touch of whipped cream if you prefer.
- Sit back and enjoy! :)
