Zesty Italian Sauteed Onion Pepper And Beef Sandwich Recipe

This Zesty Italian Sandwich is great for Lunch or Dinner. We had a salad for lunch and for Dinner we have chips and fries. Either way this is one great Sandwich!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced onions
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup Light Zesty Italian Dressing
  • 12 slices Shaved Roast Beef
  • 2 submarine rolls (7 inch), partially split
  • 2 Tbsp. pickled pepper rings (Banana Peppers)
  • (I also added sliced Pepper Jack Cheese) Opitional

Directions
  1. COOK and stir onions and bell peppers in dressing in medium skillet on medium heat 5 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring frequently.
  2. ADD meat; toss to coat. Cook on medium-low heat 2 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently.
  3. FILL rolls with meat mixture; top with pickled peppers.
  4. Extra:
  5. Add 1 Mozzarella Cheese Slice, cut in half, or 1 Tbsp. Shredded Parmesan Cheese to each sandwich.
  6. Extra:
  7. Prepare as directed, cooking 1/3 cup sliced mushrooms along with the onions and bell peppers.
