Ingredients
  • LANAS APPETIZER MEATBALLS
  • For the meatballs:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg -- lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 tbls mustard (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup onion – finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup onion – chopped
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1/8 tsp pepper
  • Combine the first 8 ingredients; mix well.
  • Shape into 1" balls.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, brown meatballs; drain.
  • Place in a 2-1/2 qt baking dish.
  • Combine sauce ingredients.
  • Pour over meatballs. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 50-60
  • minutes or until meatballs are done.
