Baked Peach Pudding

- 2 cups sliced fresh peaches, placed in bottom of 8 x 8 x2 inch pan. shopping list
- Pour the following batter over peaches. shopping list
- BATTER: shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c. milk shopping list
- 4 tbsps. butter shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1 c. flour shopping list
- Combine sugar and butter. shopping list
- Add other dry ingredients, alternately with milk. shopping list
- Spread over fruit. shopping list
How to make it
- TOPPING:
- Mix 1 cup of sugar with 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
- Sift this over batter.
- Pour 1 cup boiling water over all.
- Bake at 325 for 50 minutes.
- Serve warm with cream.
- Yield------12 serving.
