Broiled Salmon with Tarragon-Garlic Butter

- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, minced shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp minced fresh tarragon or1 tsp dried, crumbled shopping list
- Freshly ground pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 (1-inch-thick) salmon fillets shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat broiler.
- Melt butter in small saucepan on the stove top over medium-low heat and saute garlic for a few seconds.
- Remove from heat and add lemon juice, tarragon and pepper.
- Arrange salmon skin side down on broiler-proof pan.
- Brush with half of butter mixture.
- Season with salt.
- Broil until nearly cooked; turn over and a cook until done to personal preference.
- Transfer to plates. Reheat remaining lemon/butter sauce; spoon over salmon and serve.
