How to make it

  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Blend in flavorings and chopped nuts
  • Mix together dry ingredients.
  • mix into creamed mixture with electric mixer until well blended.
  • Shape into small balls the size of walnuts
  • Place on a ungreased baking sheet and flatten a but with a fork.
  • Place an almond in center of cookie
  • Bake in a slow oven, 325F about 20 minutes or done

    no eggs or leaver so no large puffing. They are buttery , sweet and nutty and we love them!
