Spiced Pumpkin Tiramisu

- 1 (10 3/4 oz) loaf pound cake or ladyfingers, if you prefer shopping list
- 2 Tbl Frangelico shopping list
- 2 C whipping cream shopping list
- 1 (8 oz.) container marscapone cheese shopping list
- 1/2 c canned pure pumpkin shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp orange extract or Grand Marnier or juic shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ginger shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg or mace shopping list
- 1 1/2 c powdered sugar shopping list
- Grated whole nutmeg or cinnamon (for garnish) shopping list
How to make it
- Cut pound cake into sixteen 1/2'' thick slices
- Arrange half of the slices in the bottom of a 2 quart baking dish
- Brush slices with 1 Tbl of the Frangelico; set aside
- In a large bowl, beat whippining cream until soft peaks form; set aside
- In another large bowl, combine marscapone cheese, pumpkin spices and extract. Beat on medium until combined
- Fold in half of the whipped cream
- spread half of the pumpkin mixture over the cake layer in dish
- Top with remaining cake slices; brush with Frangelico
- Spread with remaining pumpkin mixture and then the whipped cream over all layers in the dish (dish will be very full)
- Cover and chill for 4 to 24 hours
- To serve sprinkle with grated nutmeg or cinnamon
