These cookies were from our 100th Anniversary Church cookbook; incidentally, the recipe was submitted by one of my husband's great-aunts. A buttery, crunchy cookie with a touch of saltiness from the potato chips that is SO good.

I LOVE these, so glad you posted it..used to make them at work on occasion, and the recipe is still there! Great to have it myself now!

I grew up on these cookies! My younger sister would always stir up the dough and then would be "too busy" to bake them. She would stick the bowl in the frig and all of us ( I am one of six) would just help our selves to the dough. She would get so mad at us. . . Thanks for the post - makes me want to whip up a batch this weekend.
