Annas Guacamole
From askfrasco 16 years agoIngredients
- 8 ripe haas avacados shopping list
- 2 tomatoes shopping list
- 1 white onion shopping list
- 1-2 jalapenos shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic chopped shopping list
- garlic salt shopping list
- cilantro shopping list
- 1 lime shopping list
- tapatio sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Half the avacados and remove the pit (leave the pit for later, it will prevent the guac from becoming brown)
- scoop out the avacados into a large bowl, leave them as whole as can be. THE CHUNKIER THE BETTER. When you mix in the other ingredients they will mash a bit.
- Add the following to the avacado
- chop tomatoes
- chop onions
- chop cilantro
- chop garlic
- Juice 1 jalapeno (or chop very finely) keep the seeds as they will add a nice kick
- squeeze in the lime
- add salt and pepper
- mix together until it is at the desired texture. I prefer chunky.
- Add a small amount of tapatio and there you have it! The best Guac ever!!
- Serve with Fried flour tortillas or tortilla chips.
- NOTE- to prevent browning throw a few pits in the bowl while waiting for guests to arrive.
- VARIATION
- you can substitute 1 or 2 avacados with pineapple or mango for a spicy/sweet mix
