Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine butter, oats, sugar and flavoring.
  • Mix well.
  • Drop 1/2 tsp. on well greased baking sheet . . . 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in 325 in oven 10 minutes or until cookies are lacy.
  • Cool slightly---remove quickly from baking sheet with spatula.
  • (These cookies are tricky to bake but are lovely for a tea.)
  • (BE SURE TO COVER THE BAKING SHEET WITH ALUMINUM FOIL.)
