Broccoli Cream Cheese Bake Recipe
BROCCOLI CREAM CHEESE BAKE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Borin Estate in Carrollton, Texas in 1986.

Ingredients
  • 3 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs beaten until no whites remain
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 3 cups chopped broccoli cooked until barely tender

Directions
  1. Blend cream cheese and milk until mixed.
  2. Add beaten eggs, lemon juice, salt, nutmeg and chopped parsley then mix well.
  3. Stir in broccoli and pour into buttered loan pan and bake at 325 for 1 hour.
  4. Remove loaf onto serving plate then cut into slices to serve.

Cathy: This is absolutely delicious. It is one of the easiest recipes and yet comes out like a souffle. This would also be great using cauliflower. As a hint: The dish is finished when the internal temp reaches 180*. I ran a knife around the outside and inverted it to a platter. Came out perfect.
