Ingredients

Combine the following ingredients in blender or large mixer bowl:

3 egg yolks

1 1/2 c. sugar

1 Tbsp. butter or margarine

3 Tbsps. flour

3 Tbsps. cocoa

1 c. milk

1 tsp. vanilla

Dash salt

Directions

Blend for a few seconds until thoroughly mixed.

(This takes three or four minutes if you use a mixer).

Pour mixture into a nine inch pie shell, unbaked.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then turn down oven to 300 degrees and bake 25 minutes longer.

Test by putting a knife blade in the center -- if it comes out clean, pie is done.

Top with meringue.

Makes 1 nine inch pie.
