Dijon Salmon Recipe
This is a simple but elegant way to serve salmon, although the sauce would work with almost any fish and perhaps even chicken.

Ingredients
  • 2 eight oz salmon fillets
  • garlic powder, divided
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 tsp snipped chives
  • 2 tpsp dijon mustard
  • dash garlic

Directions
  1. Sprinkle salmon lightly with garlic powder.
  2. Broil fish fillets on broiler pan 4 to 6 minutes per half inch thickness. Flip once if over 1 inch thick.
  3. Mix together all other ingredients in small sauce pan and cook over low heat until well blended. DO NOT BOIL.
  4. Add a little more milk to thin it out more if you wish.
  5. Serve salmon with sauce poured over it.

I'll try it on something other than salmon, since you know how I feel about salmon...it's ok smoked, but that's the only way I can eat it. How about on dad's walleye...maybe not!
