This is my version of Rachel Ray's Sweet Italian Sausage patties. She uses ground chicken, I prefer white ground turkey. I also like the tang of lemon and find it really works here ... hence the lemon pepper. I haven't tried this yet with lean pork,... More

I make my own sausage with a hand grinder ( I highly suggest anyone and everyone to do this)and one recipe for Sicilian sausage I have uses corriander with fennel, s&p and chili flakes. Anyway IMO this was a dynamic recipe because of the addition of corriander. I'm thinking you'd like it because it has lemony overtones.
