Beef Stroganoff Casserole

- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp vegetable oil shopping list
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms - or 1 can sliced mushrooms - drained shopping list
- 1 large onion - chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic - minced shopping list
- 1/4 cup dry white wine shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup - undiluted shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 Tblspn Dijon mustard shopping list
- 4 cups cooked egg noodles shopping list
- Chopped fresh parsley - optional shopping list
How to make it
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease 9x13 inch baking dish
- Place beef in a large skillet & season with salt & pepper
- Brown beef over med/high heat until no longer pink, stirring to separate beef
- Drain grease from skillet & set beef aside
- Heat oil in the same skillet on med/high.
- Add mushrooms,onion & garlic, cook & stir until onion is tender, about 2 mins
- Add wine. Reduce heat to med/low & simmer 3 mins.
- Remove from heat & stir in soup, sour cream & mustard until well combined
- Return beef to skillet
- Place cooked noodles in prepared baking dish & pour beef mixture over noodles.
- Carefully mix until noodles are well coated
- Bake, uncovered, 30 mins or until heated through
- Sprinkle with parsley if desired

- NOTE:- If prepared ahead & kept in the fridge, add to the baking time until heated through
