Ingredients

How to make it

  • Lightly rub potatoes with Crisco
  • Place in a 375 degree oven for about an hour, depending on the size of the potato
  • When potato is done, remove from oven
  • Cut in half while hot
  • Place in an oven proof dish (may use baking sheet for a number of potatoes)
  • Top with your favorite chili, then top with cheese
  • Return to oven until chili is bubbly and cheese is melted
  • Remove from oven
  • Place on serving plate
  • Serve with sour cream and chopped green onions
  • A DELICIOUS SIMPLE MEAL

    I'm cooking this right now. I just cook my potatoes in the microwave instead of the oven. lol Takes about 5 minutes. :D Great recipe. I really didn't feel like frying the potatoes.
