Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef ( I prefer not the fattest, not the leanest)
  • 2 medium Vidalia onions, quartered
  • butter slices
  • 2 medium potatoes, quartered (I prefer russets)
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sheets of aluminum foil

Directions
  1. Shape the meat into 3 or 4 patties and place each patty in center of a sheet of foil.
  2. Divide each vegetable among your individual portions, just laying the vegetables on top of the raw meat.
  3. Bring up the foil and wrap tightly.
  4. Place in a baking pan or on a baking sheet in case you have any drips, or place the pan on the shelf below the foil packets.
  5. Bake at 350 for one hour.
  6. Top individual servings with butter slices, salt and pepper.
  7. Serve immediately.
