I just decided that if you can stuff the chicken breasts, why can't you stuff the thighs. Especially since these were so big. So I gave it a try and pics will be up as soon as it comes out of the oven.

Ingredients
  • 2 joined chicken legs and thighs washed and patted dry
  • 1/2 white or sweet onion diced
  • 2 cloves sliced garlic
  • 2 tbls butter (not margarine)
  • cubed day old bread
  • poultry seasoning
  • salt pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • I sprinkled garam masala on before it went in the oven (optional)

Directions
  1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 325F
  2. Put cubed bread in a bowl
  3. add milk
  4. seasonings to taste
  5. egg
  6. -----------
  7. place butter in pan with onion and garlic
  8. cook until translucent
  9. ADD to ingredients in bowl
  10. Mix gently
  11. -----------
  12. Lift skin from thighs
  13. stuff and sew closed or use skewer
  14. -----
  15. Roast in oven for and hour and 15 minutes
  16. ------
  17. PICS UP WHEN IT COMES OUT OF OVEN

Wish I thought of this inventive idea. I put leaves of herbs under the skin why not stuffing.
