Nutty Chocolate Caramel Delights

These are incredible and loaded with great flavors. A huge hit around my house. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 1 package German chocolate cake mix shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/3 cup plus 1/2 cup evaporated milk divided shopping list
- 3/4 cup butter melted shopping list
- 14 ounce package vanilla caramels unwrapped shopping list
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels shopping list
How to make it
- In large mixing bowl combine dry cake mix, pecans, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and melted butter.
- Press half the batter into bottom of a greased rectangular glass baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 8 minutes.
- In top of a double boiler over simmering water melt caramels with remaining milk.
- When caramel mixture is well blended pour over baked layer then cover with chocolate morsels.
- Pour remaining batter on top of morsels then return to preheated 350 oven and bake 10 minutes.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
