Fish Tacos

- mango Salsa: shopping list
- 1 bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 jalapeño pepper, deseeded and diced shopping list
- 2 just-ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped into ½-inch square chunks shopping list
- 1 handful cilantro chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- juice of 1 lime shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- lime Sauce: shopping list
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise shopping list
- 1/2 cup low-fat yogurt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice shopping list
- 1 chipotle chile in adobo sauce, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped or pressed shopping list
- salt shopping list
- beer Batter: shopping list
- 1 - egg shopping list
- 1 cup - flour shopping list
- 1 cup - beer or ale shopping list
- 2 teaspoons - cornstarch shopping list
- 1 teaspoon - baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon - salt shopping list
- 1/2 pounds fish (we used tilapia) shopping list
- Your choice of tortillas shopping list
- shredded cabbage shopping list
How to make it
- Combine ingredients for mango salsa; then combine ingredients for lime sauce.
- Prepare beer batter.
- Chop fish into small taco sized pieces
- Heat canola oil over med heat in deep skillet.
- Dip fish in batter and deep fry until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels.
- Heat tortillas in skillet. Serve with shredded cabbage and enjoy!
