How to make it

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add apples and apricots to skillet; saute for about 4 minutes or until apples are tender.
  • Add cornbread, soup mix, and pepper; stirring well.
  • Combine milk and eggs; stir into cornbread mixture.
  • Spoon mixture into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish.
  • Sprinkle almonds over top, cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
