Chicken Casserole

- 2 lbs ( or 8 halved) chicken breast shopping list
- 1 can cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 1 8 oz container of sour cream shopping list
- crumbled Ritz crackers ( approx. 1 sleeve) shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1/4 c. poppy seed shopping list
How to make it
- Boil chicken till done and pull off meat in large chunks. Layer chicken in a casserole dish , not quite as long as 13 inches. Mix can of soup and sour cream over low heat, until just warm. I STRONGLY suggest not buying bargain sour cream as it makes the mixture runny, I prefer Breakstones. Spread mixture over chicken. Top with crumbled Ritz crackers. Dot all over with pats of butter. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with poppy seed. Bake at 350 till brown and bubbly, about 45 minutes.
